Customer Service Sales Assistant

Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Marketing Leader

Summary/Objective
This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing sales team in a rapidly developing industry. We have a high energy culture and are looking for disciplined individuals with strong safety, account management, detail oriented, multitasker, and fast learner background. Experience in the construction industry is a big Plus!

Essential Functions

  1. Facilitates internal communication between departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
  2. Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted
  3. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
  4. Work with sales team to pass on and track leads
  5. Answer phones and route calls
  6. Create forms and spreadsheets
  7. Aid Sales Team Leader in filling out bid requests, quotes, job notifications, and other paperwork for jobs.
  8. Schedule and attend meetings as needed to prospect customers and business partnerships. Must be comfortable with virtual meetings and willing to use Teams.
  9. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
  10. Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business
  11. Familiarity in using CRM programs as well as Microsoft office along with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  12. Strong work ethic motivated by achieving results. Proven record of demonstrating good judgment and discretion when working to accomplish goals.
  13. Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide support and Information on products or services.
  14. Assign job numbers and keep quote log and files up to date
  15. Account and project management of House accounts

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school Diploma
  • Basic knowledge of construction or safety industry
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and thoroughly
  • Must be detail-oriented, multitasker, resourceful, and be able to communicate virtually.

  • Sales experience.
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Fall Protection Knowledge is a plus
